STORY
Frankenstein Digital was founded by Paul Pennington from his base in Liverpool, UK.
After completing a BSc in eBusiness at the University of Liverpool, Paul began his career as a website administrator. He quickly moved beyond maintenance work and into growth strategy, helping a small business gain real national prominence in search.
During this period, he managed the entire Ecommerce operation as the company experienced significant online and offline growth. Paul was responsible not just for marketing, but for ensuring the entire system worked together, from website performance and SEO to back-end processes, order processing and the customer experience.
After beginning work as a freelance consultant, strong client retention quickly validated the model and led to the formation of Frankenstein Digital. Paul brought his in-house philosophy directly into client businesses. The goal has always been to remove the gaps between disciplines and connect SEO, paid media, development and automation into one unified system.
Today, that means staying closely involved across every area that impacts ecommerce growth: SEO, development, paid media, automation, back-end systems, delivery workflows and even customer service processes. No rigid silos. No artificial boundaries.
